An entertaining, campy slasher story that will make you feel nostalgic for 80’s horror classics. Seven friends reunite in their hometown for a weekend getaway. What is meant to be a time to catch up and have fun quickly turns into a terrifying fight for survival. The friends do their best to survive their attacker while trying to save each other.
A classic slasher story that is meant to make you feel like you’re experiencing Friday the 13th for the first time. It has the perfect campy storytelling from multiple points of view, reminding me of other stories like the video game Until Dawn. I wasn’t expecting anything new or surprising, and chose it because I was in the mood for a good slasher story. However, I was pleasantly surprised towards the end and thoroughly enjoyed it! This is a great read if you want to break the routine and add a bit of horror to your shelf. Overall, it was entertaining and suspenseful.
For readers who enjoy classic slasher stories with a campy vibe
