An instant page turner, you won’t be able to set it down. I became hooked by chapter two and completed the entire book in one night. The world created by the author is so rich that you can’t help but want more stories from both the main characters and the supporting characters. The magical world and its political differences added layers of complexity; the creatures mentioned were fascinating, and I couldn’t help but hope the author expands on them in the future. The deep affection between Scarlett and Brayden tugs at your heartstrings in a way that you become instantly invested in their survival. Several scenes stood out; the entire story is well-paced, leaving little room for slow or dull moments. The story had the perfect blend of romance, fantasy, and thrill that will leave readers happy and begging for more.

Overall, this was an incredible story, and I’m hoping the author provides readers with a sequel.
